Hi.
I installed the software then rebooted. I ran the program from the
Update Services icon on the deskop. I have the phone connected using
the DSS-25 desktop stand and the correct cable.
The software starts up, checks the phone I presume, then displays world
map to choose a language from. I click next (as the default is english)
then it shows a blank screen, except for the two button holders on the
right hand side (no text on them) and revolves through a few mobiles on
the left bottom of the display (I see these, but my K600i model is not
shown).
The buttons work, but there is no text on this screen so I am not sure
of what instructions, or what to do next.
I have re-installed the software, but to avail..
Any one got any ideas??
Thanks,
Robert

Re: Sony Ericsson Update Software: No text in program
I think you have some software running which stops the Update Service from
executing.
An anti-spyware or a firewall can cause this.
Also too much security settings in your Internet Explorer being active can
turn you grazy.
Try closing them and give it a try.
PS: Update Service requires Java to run.
