upgrade/add Software

Is it possible to buy software or get it installed on a mobile. e.g get
polyphonic software installed on a non polyphonic phone. (so the phone can
play polyphonic ringtones).

nope, polyphony comes from the hardware. while it is possible to flash a
nokia 8210 into an 8250, 6210 into 6250, 3310 into 3315, an ericsson
T68m into a T68i
