T610 vs T616

Greetings,

I was wondering what the big difference is between the T610 anf the 616?
They look identical and the specifications on the web site look to be
virtually the same. The only difference I could find is the 616 supports
850GSM and the 610 supports 900GSM. Anyone know of any other differences?

Also, I had read that the 610 display was somewhat hard to read in bright
sunshine and the ringtones were not overly loud. It's sort of subjective but
I am wondering if the 616 has any improvements over the 610 in these areas?

That's basically it. You might find some minor differences but the two
models are designed for different markets (ie depending on whether you will
use primarily 900/1800 or 850/1900 frequency bands) rather than being
competitors.

The difference is basically the bands. 850 GSM is only found in the US
and canada and is genrally better then the regular 1900 Mhz. 850
allows you better reception and better call quality. If you are in the
US i would recommend the T616 over the T610, but if you travel alot and
like me travel to asia, then the T610 would be better.
