I need help with my t39!

ok, so a few weeks ago my t39 feel in water. It basically fell in a
california creek (red rock). I let it dry under the sun. As soon as I got
home I opened it to dry it even better. unfortunatly when I opened it I took
the flip away from the phone. Now the phone is working great (not a single
problem so far...using the ericsson mp3 player as a mic)......the only
problem is that I can't make the microphone to work again :S the problem is
mechanical....I can't put the flip back togheter with the phone. Should I
simply buy a new flip or what? how am I supposed to put it? should I try
with the flip in open position or what?

For future reference, your best bet is to flush it as soon as possible with
*pure* (not drugstore) isopropyl alcohol.

When putting the flip back on, it is important that the connection from the
phone to the flip is in the right position. Also, when installing the flip
back onto the phone, you have to line up the connectors. Start with the
hinge on the * key side, making sure that the connectors line up (note:
there are 2 tiny prongs on the flip, if you don't see the connectors on the
phone itself, the connector plug has fallen out of place, you have to take
apart the phone to put it back in place). Next put the next side of the
flip on, this involves a little bit of force and stretching.
