Hello,
Slow starter, I recently bought a Bluetooth capable laptop (with built
in CSR USB Bluetooth Device). I am using a T39m (bought in France) since
some time, but without using Bluetooth, running the following soft:
R3B006
CXC125268
CXC125147_TAE
Now,... Bluetooth detection doesn't work, no matter if I attempt to
discover from phone or laptop.
Curious about Bluetooth and for other reasons, yesterday I bought
myself an HBH-60 headset for my T39m...
.... the headset is capable of pairing with my laptop,... but still
no device found when attempting with the T39m. (I've also tried
having the phone in accept mode, powering up the headset.)
Makes me believe my T39m was shipped.. ..
Someone's experienced similar problem? Any known firmware upgrade (R4A?)
or other known fix, that won't break other things as a border effect?
Cheers,
mh

Re: T39m Bluetooth problem
Hi,
Unfortunately I have no idea how to solve this problem, but I'm experiencing
the exeact same problem.
My setup consists of a iPAQ5450, a t39m and a HBH-10, the iPAQ and the HBH
are able to "see" each other but the phone fails to connect to both headset
and iPAQ. I few months ago I had it working with both. I have further tried
with a bluetooth equipped IBM laptop, which also fails to connect to the
phone, but works perfectly with the other devices.
If you find a way to solve this problem I would be very happy if you'll
share the solution with me.
Best regards,
Crilles

Nice to know I'm not the only one

So will be. Interesting that it used to function for you, and then
suddenly ceased...
I'm attempting to get in touch with an Ericsson rep.

Re: T39m Bluetooth problem
Follow-up: Got my firmware upgraded to version R4A008. Still no
Bluetooth success though. Opened new case with Ericsson..

Hello,
interesting: after a fair number of contacts with the SE tech.
service... no answer, no action at all, is the current output.
I guess I'll have to go support an alternative vendor... hoping
for a slightly more efficient follow-up...
(By the way, the problem cited below has been determined being the cause
of hardware.)
