T610: suddenly no more sms. software or provider problem?

all went well.
gprs, mms and sms worked
friday I suddenly could not send mms and sms and no gprs connection
I could call and be called and receive sms
after a cold start of my t610 and a reset from my provider (t-mobile in the
netherlands), all worked well

until today
only sms is not available.
calling t-mobile helpdesk again : they say after studying helpdekslog- it
might be the software.
I think not, otherwise I could not have send a sms
other users known of this issue?

Try going into your Menu > Connectivity > Data Comm. > Sms Access and see
whether your phone is set to send SMS via GPRS or GSM. Although it normally
doesn't matter, a few people have encountered difficulty with sending SMS if
it is sent to GPRS. Try putting it to GSM, and try again.
