    Hello !

I´ve got a T68i and the manual isn´t really good....
So please let me know what the option "Read report" in the MMS menu has to
    say.
Will this send my partner a confirmation of my opening the received MMS (or
will it send a c. to me) ?

I also want to know what information the "Delivery report" (in the MMS
menu) will give to me ?
Will it give a confirmation of getting a MMS on my partners handy or only a
confirmation of sending by the provider of my partner....?

Thanks a lot and best regards,
    Christian

I've never used the read report, but I should think it does the same as the
Delivery report, it sends a sms back to the sender, saying the mms/sms has
been read, when the receiver (person receiving the message) has opened the
    message.

The delivery report I have used, when the receiver receives the message, a
sms is sent back to you with certain information (e.g the message id) and
says that your message has been delivery, it also said stuff I didn't
understand (I think it was reference no.s ect) but I just ignored it. The
delivery report I think didn't cost me anything but it may have charged the
    receiver or was free.
    Hope this helps

I don't know for MMS, but for SMS it is a notification, not really an sms.
It is free. The message is not stored, but you can look at the status if you
open the message in your sent items folder and then proceed and choose 'look
at status' (or something similar, I have another language than English).

This status only tells if the message has arived at the other handset (which
is not the case when the phone is off or has no reception).

Would this be something else that the read report mentioned?
