T300 Infra Red Link, Please Help

Hi all,

Could anyone please tell me how to transfer ringtones from the pc to
the T300 handset and games too, using the Infra Red Port on my laptop
pc, this maching is running windows XP, i've read on here that its
possible to transfer .mid files but i cant work it out.

Any help or comments would be gratefully recieved,

You don't need any extra software to transfer files using IR. Are you able
to establish IR communication between the phone and the PC? It should popup
a little 'balloon' and make a sound when they are connected.

Once you have established this connection, just right-click the file you
wish to send, select "Send To > Infrared Device" (or similar).

Also make sure your IR is turned on in the BIOS mine is UART2 enabled
to use IR
