    Greetings
I run Outlook XP. Previously I ran Outlook 2000. I have an Ericsson
T39 mobile. With it came some software including a text message add-in
which worked just fine in Outlook 2000. It even transferred to text
messages into Outlook and allowed me to send SMS messages from Outlook
    - very handy
Problem is that it doesn't seem to appear in Outlook XP
Has anyone had a successful install of this. Perhaps I am doing
    something wrong
    Cheers

I actually installed it last night and it seems to be working fine. I also
have a T39m but I didn't use the CD-ROM that came with it because the
software it contains is very outdated.

You should go to Sony Ericsson's support page and download the newest
version; do not get the one with Xtend connect because it's useless unless
you're really planning to sync your phone with Outlook.

Anyways, I don't think the problems you're having are directly related to
Windows XP, it's more likely a problem with Outlook. If the add-in is
installed properly it should appear under the "New" scroll down menu. Wish
    you luck!

    Thanks
I did download a new version from Sony and installed it. I was hunting
around and located it under Help/About/Disabled Items and there it
was. I enabled it and it works fine
