Yes I did have fun. I installed eZiTap 1.1 earlier, then upgraded the
firmware and found my virtual keyboard didn't work at all. Text Input on
control panel is also unavailable although it shows as an item. Reinstalled
eZiTap and all works again. Apparently the upgrade also loses you any voice
commands as they aren't part of the backup process, bit of a black mark.

Yep, voice commands are lost, but at least the upgrade program warns you
about this before you start the process.

My upgrade went (surprisingly?) smoothly. The clock screensaver is now
larger and the phone feels a bit quicker. There's a full list of the
    upgraded items on www.my-symbian.com forums.

    Funny.

I bought my P900 in HongKong last week and the software version I have
is newer than what they offer (R2B01)

    How do you know?

I upgraded mine and the CDA version listed on my phone is higher than
what the 'site' said it would be.

The CDA version of my phone is CDA162004/14
    Organizer version is R1A05

It seems that R2B02 is only available (from their web site) if your CDA
    version is: CDA162003/1

    My phone shows these versions:
    Phone: CXC162022 R3A024
    Bluetooth: CXC12529 R5D
    Organizer: CXC162021 R1A05
    CDA: CDA162004/14 R2B01

So if you go to the P900 upgrade web site, you will see that there's no
new version for my phone (Last version proposed is R1A05, while for the
P900 sold in Europe, R2B02 is available...
