Is there anyone using this combination? I bought the damn thing for almost
£100 and have had nothing but problems - whenever I call someone they report
hearing a 1/2 second echo. I have written to Motorola on their '24
turnaround' support and they replied (5 days later) saying they don't
    support Sony Ericsson headsets. Aaaaargh!!

I thought there might be a setting I should make on the phone or headset to
stop this. I'd appreciate any help.

    Best wishes

    Ted

Sorry can't help you but I am using the same combination with no problems. I
didn't change any settings, just linked the two and it worked.

I had heaps of problems with different handsets until I tried the Logitech
one (not sure the model number but's there's only one) and it's been great.

I'm using an HS810 with Sony Ericsson T616 and (so far at least) it
works superbly. My previous Motorola HBH-35 headset worked okay with a
T68i but oddly couldn't deal with drill-down voice dialing on the T616
when a contact had more than one phone number to choose from (eg,
home, work and mobile). Sound quality is improved on the HS810 and
it's smaller, lighter and has a longer-lasting battery. No need to lug
the charger unit around to perform a reset either. In fact the manual
doesn't even mention a reset procedure. The HS810 can also be paired
with up to 8 devices. The ear loop can be switched between wearing on
the right or left ear much easier than the HBH-35. The HS810 is a
solid upgrade and not overpriced compared to some of the
"competition". For anyone now considering a purchase of the HBH-35,
which has been dramatically reduced in priced, I would say "forget
it". Any time I went to use the HBH-35 (even with the T68i), I always
had to wonder if it would work at all, interfere with my conversation,
or be so disruptive as to be an embarassment. Simply due to the
uncertainty, I stopped using the HBH-35 altogether. In contrast, the
HS810 just works without any thought at all.

    Yours,

    Hello again Ted,

looks like my first post did not work.

I tried to say that even though i do not have the same headset, i also
had problem with mine (jabra 250) until i upgraded frmwhere
on 610, since then even though i am not that happy with sound qality it
    works resonably well
