this is what i heard. ive used generic wired handsfree types before and they
werent TOO bad. the inferior quality was noticeable but hey, they worked and
were good enough for me. primary use is in the car.

will generic bluetooth handsfree's be the same or even worse? i cant justify
spending 60-100 for an oem one..

You don't have a USB port in your ear?? Wow you must be an old model... I
think you can buy an upgrade for yourself at maplins

    L

ps. the plantronics ones seem to be quite popular. around the £50 mark on
ebay buyitnows or you can get a good deal if you look at the non-buyitnow
auctions and if you are lucky.

after having got the person asking the question and the person answering the
question, Scott had the ordacity to ask 'How on Earth does that help?'
Well Scott, it probably doesn't, but the OP wanted to have a comparison
between cable and BT connection. Having got my phone connected via BT only,
I can only give that as an opinion, not a comparison. Is that OK for you?

For some time (3 months) i use a clone BT headfone.
It works, and with that everything is said.
It is the ideal sollution if you just need it to listen and talk, once you
want to use voice dialing, voice commands, ... it is crap.
I left using BT and am using my cable headset again till i have enough money
to buy a good one of a known trade (not limited to Ericsson)

Because this is a generic handsfree device from a company professional in
the development of wireless headsets with a reputation for great sound
    quality.
