    Hi all..

I'm used to a Nokia's Predictive text way of doing things.. of course
the Moto is similar but when using iTap Ext - What's the quickest way
to get a comma and full stop...?

With a Nokia it was simple the 1Key, then star to cycle round to the
    character you wanted...

same thing really, press 1 e.g, Hello then when u press 1 u get a choice of
Hello. Hello? Hello! and if u press right u get more options... Hello,
Hello@ Hello' u then just select what u want, i still prefer txting on a
nokia though, still getting used to the v525....

When you press the one key you'll see the word you want followed by a
highlighted punctuation mark. On my phone it's frequently a square
bracket or something useless, and I have to use the right arrow to
scroll to the punctuation I want. Full stop is usually 3rd or 4th. This
depends on previously entered punctuation. For example if I have
previously entered why followed by a ?, it will offer me this option
first every time I ask for punctuation after the word why. But by
default, the most common punctuation marks are 3rd 4th or 5th in the
list offered, whereas they should be 1st and 2nd. As far as I can see
this is the only flaw in an otherwise escellent predictive text system.

little bit off topic ... but .. had a Siemens S45 before. Compared to the
S45's T9 iTap is crap, especially when texting in a non english language
(i.e. german). Too often I get wrong suggestions or just rubbish at all,
most often when typing compound words (which are very common in german).
There's no easy way to tell iTap to just ignore the first compound of the
word and go on as if it would be a completely new word. I that were possible
the rate of missuggestions would drop dramaticly. There some other minor
flaws. I'll tell next time. :-)
