What is the difference between the V60c and V60i? I have seen the
V60i, like it, and may bid on one on E-Bay but I am trying to figure
out if the V60c is an acceptable substitute -- or possibly even better
    for some reason.

    Thanks.

Unless you're refering to the v60 t color screen version, the c stands
for CDMA which works on Verizon or Sprint. The v60t and v60i work on ATT
and in the TDMA areas of Cingular.

I had a v.60c for a short time and abandoned it to return to my old
    StarTac7868. I can't recall all the reasons I didn't like it,, but
the primary one was poor receiver volume.

However, while I don't own one, I have used a v.60i and found it very
satisfactory. At least three of my business associates have one, and
    all seem to like theirs.

My vote would definitely go to the i model. All the phones I've
referred to are CDMA works on Verizon.
