    Hi Folks

Each time my V525 either loses the signal all together or when it re-finds
the network the phone give off a rather annoying and loud bleepy noise.
This is rather embarrassing when you're out shopping as the thing keeps
bleeping as it drifts in and out of range and make me look like some kid
playing with his phone for attention in public, which I'm not on both
    counts!

Putting the phone on silent seems to help, but then I miss calls as you
can't set the phone to just vibrate, likewise the vibrate option is vibe
then ring which is a bit odd after coming from a long line of Nokia phones
which all rang and vibrated all at the same time??

    Any advice would be great!

    Regards
    J

This can be done as I've done it! ;-)

Go into Settings > Network > Service Tone / Call Drop Tone -- You can
    toggle these on/off

    ;-)
