    Hi all,

I have a HS810 Bluetooth Headset and its a right pain in the ar*e!
When its fully charged it seems to work great for about 2 hours on
standby (with boom open) but it is for ever disconnecting and
    reconnecting - sometimes during calls.

After a while it will disconnect and then simply will not reconnect.
Is this a battery problem?? The manual says 5 hours of talktime and
100 hours of standby time. i might get 1/20th of this if i'm lucky.

I have heard that this is a common problem - is there any claim
options on the warrenty - maybe a swap out for the new HS820 model??

For the record its connected to a Nokia 6310i.

    Regards,
    Jon

What is the firmware version and date of your 6310i? (*#0000# from standby)

Do you have another handset to try it with? This would eliminate the problem
being your 6310i (which has been nothing but trouble on early firmware
    versions).

Dont know what this means, but this is what it says. Is this early or
    late firmware??

    Firmware Version:
    V 5.50
    03-03-03
    NPL-1
    (c) NMP.

As for trying on another phone, the mrs has a T68i. It works on that
phone in a similar fashon to the 6310i. To be honest though I havent
used it enough to know if I gat the same results.

The firmware of your phone should be OK.

The only thing would be to use it with the T68i and see what kind of
    standby/talk time you're getting.

    Hope this helps,
