Help! Does the MPX200 work on Cingular

Help!....does anyone know if the the MPX200 will work on the Cingular
network? I have an unlock MPX200 but when I install my Cingular sim
card it still comes up as "No Service". Does anyone have any ideas as
to what the problem might be?

Only thing I can think is maybe differences in the bands used....I
have a T720 that works fine. Any help someone may have would be
greatly appreciated.

some areas use 850mhz and the mpx200 doesnt have 850mhz..
there is no way to get 850mhz on the mpx200.
if it reads no service and you checked the network settings to make sure its
on automatic or 1900 and not 900/1800 then its not going to work in your
area.

you can always sell it and get an mpx 220 or an smt 5600
