I have a nextel that I use at work. There are times when I would like
to block certain direct connect numbers so that when I'm at home (or
just don't want to be bothered) I can leave only the cell phone
portion on. The way it works now, in order to turn off the DC I have
to shut off the phone altogether.

You can either turn off the DC speaker so you don't hear it or use
styles and filter calls...sorry can't help ya more than that as I don't
use styles

Re: Do any nextels have this feature?
with styles you can setup the filter so you can recieve direct connect from
no more than just 5 people from they phone book or less.
read your owners manual

You can use a style to block certain types of calls. Additionally, you
can use a datebook entry to trigger a style based on the time of day.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
