I'm a newbie, coming over from Verizon

    I have the i730.

Is it possible to reply to a text message that someone sent from their PC,
phone or 2 way pager? If so, how?

Also, how do you create a new text message to send to someone's PC, phone or
    2 way pager.

I am not subscribing to the Internet service, if that makes a difference.

    Thx!!

Well if you're not subscribing to NOL, you don't have a sub-id which you'll
need for anything net related. If you can manage to just get a sub-id without
putting some sort of NOL service on your account you can use one of the many
    free WAP sites.

Get NOL added to your account for $3.50/month
Once you have your sub id, you can send a net alert to your phone with
whichever WAP site you want. there are many to choose from

Well you can get basic net on your contract for $3.50/mo, or any other service
that needs a sub-id (text messaging for instance). Or there have been people
who have called up Nextel CS and managed to get a sub-id for free...

Have 3 Nextel phones and already paying abt $95/mo, don't want to pay any
more!! Wondering if they have a 'hey, you're a good customer, have a sub-id
on the house' deal? Maybe they could give me that instead of the 10% for 3
months they're offering next month if I re-up my contract..sound possible?

Yeah...I think it sounds possible. They gave me 200 extra bonus minutes
per month for as long as I'm with Nextel the last "anniversary special."

Or, you could just pay for the net services if you want to do it all
    easily...

If you sign up for the text messaging for a month and then cancel it, you
will get access to a SUB-ID that will not go away. So you can use the net
alert feature at www.teknidude.com to send yourself a Net Alert to obtain
FREE (Yes, I said FREE) internet access for your phone.

    Your Welcome,
    DR
