The one which comes with the phone already has a charge but no telling if
it's had the recommended 12 hours. I found this ought when I bought a OEM
spare from a local dealer and she said the be sure to charge it for 12
hours - they offered to charge it for me so I came back the next day and
picked it up. But my original and my spare both give me about three days of
average use.
