Whats with all this hate?

Between Verizon and Nextel users/ I've been with this newsgroup for a
couple of months and everyday I seed people who use nextel flame and put
down people who use verizon. Fkin grow up! Most of you are adults why
don't you act like them? If Verizon works for you, and when people call
you and you call people it works, then thats good for you. If the same
thing happens when you use nextel, the nextel works for you.

HERE HERE!!! I'm a member of another technology-related web group as
well, and between there and here I'm constantly amazed and horrified by
the behavior of disciples of competing technologies/viewpoints towards
each other.

People, relax: it's just a phone. Let's remember the manners our
parents taught us.

I think people have tooooo much time on their hands sometime.
Whatever happened to constructive conversation and comparison? e.g.
my green paint with 3 coats is flaking off, what did you use, instead
of 'my car is more green than your car' bs.

That is the way of the web now though.. such a shame

Might be more like a friendly rivalry. However the competition will be good
for the industry. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
