I know the plus is no longer being made (I have one) and the i60 is supposed
to replace it.
Are they both the same technology? What is the difference between them? I
could not find the plus in the nextel home webaite to do a comparison
between the two. What would be the advantage of getting a 60c now to replace
my plus?

The i60 is SIM card based.About 1/4 smaller than i1000 series.Same weight
though. The i60 address book has more features and options for each entry
name.It is more manageable IMHO.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Wayne. What's the difference between the i60's
SIM card and the one the i1000 has?

Paul
AFAIK the i1000 series never was SIM card based.
I have not seen one that was.

This is true. The reason I haven't "upgraded" though is the simple fact of
how obnoxious it would be to open the flip every the phone rings to see who
it is. Plus, on the i1000 if you're on the internet and its taking a while
to come through, just close the lid and let it go. On any of the new models,
it will go back to home and wont continue. Plus, the external display on the
90 and 95 is just too small. The i1000 allows you to see the entire display
while closed. I recognize that the newer phones have much more capabilities,
but these inconveniences have bothered me too much to upgrade.
