I tried to use the Download Cards in order to download "things" onto the
Nextel i730 Phone--It didn't work (apparently, those cards were for use
with the i95cl and i90c only). Furthermore, when I tried to download
via Cable, it kept on giving me error messages. Is there a reason why
    this is so?

You can download most of the games from this site, but none of the apps,
ringers or wallpaper work. Use a program called Jallite. Download it here:
    http://www.coldcircle.com/software/JALLite.zip

After installing/rebooting open the prog, connect your datacable, set the
preferences to be either your serial or usb cable, then click connect.
you'll see the programs you have installed and how much memory you have
free. grab a game from the first URL, unzip it so you have a .jar and .jad
file. Go to the program, click download, click on the jad file let it
    download to your phone.

this only works with games, most i95 games work with it, just the screen is
a little off, buy hey, the games are free. the one's from moto are 6 to 10
    bux.

    good luck.

Here's the catch--I have an i730, which means that none of the current
GIF-based Java Apps will work with the i730.
