Hi Dave,
I'm pretty sure it's
"In The Hall Of The Mountain King"
Would make a great ringtone!
What file format (phone/carrier)do you need it in? mono, poly or real tone?
Let me know and I'll try to post it for at http://primetones.com

It sounds like "On the Trail" from the Grand Canyon Suite.

I think it's actually called In the Hall Of The Mountain King - quite a
popular classical piece.

Re: Alton Towers Tune Please
The 1998 Alton Towers advert included "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by
Grieg.
Some will remember the game called Manic Miner from the Spectrum days ...
same tune!

Well sorry people my first post in this newsgroup was wrong,
although I sure that the Disney Music was used in a TV ad for
Alton Towers some time back!
But anyway I now know that the previous replies were also
correct!
As by coincidence, there are two free CD's with the latest issue
of Classic FM Magazine (July 2004 Issue)
One of the CD's is Music from Films and the other Disk is Music
from TV and on that CD track is and I quote:
Alton Towers.
Greig: Peer Gynt Suite - In the Hall of the Mountain King.
Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra / Tadeusz Wojciechowski.
Taken from Classical Vitality.
Cat No. 74321 945972.
I hope you good people will accept my apologies for any confusion
that my original post may have cause!
I will now go and sit in the corner, with a special hat on! :-(
Best Wishes.
Gaz.
