I've got a Nokia 3120 and have been playing around with Oxygen Phone
Manager's RTTL melody editor.
I can send a melody to my phone, and Oxygen says it's on the phone, but
I can find no way to use that melody as a ringtone on the phone!
I know that .mid ringtones get uploaded to the Tones Gallery, and from
there I can listen to them. But I've got no idea where a melody gets
uploaded to or how to find it on the phone. Going into Settings ->
Tone Settings -> Ringing Tone gives me a list of ringtones that appear
to be built into the phone (i.e Bee, Croak, Doorbell) as well as an
option to open a Gallery, but there is no sign of the melody tone I
uploaded.
Reading Oxygen's help file I found this: "Note: we highly don't
recommend to upload ringtones to the standard list for the phone models
with the latest firmware versions and Gallery support. Please, use
Gallery manager for that matter."
But I can't find any way to save an RTTL ringtone to my Tones Gallery!
Can anyone suggest anything?

Re: Oxygen Melody Ringtones on 3120
Hello!
Version 2.8.3.3 can upload RTTL tones to Nokia Series 40 phones directly
only in case of wireless connection ( i.e. infrared or bluetooth ), where
you upload tones in 'Editor' mode with first 'Write to phone' button (and
not to specific cell). In case of cable connection you can use Ringtone
Editor only for RTTL tones creation and sending these .RTX files over SMS
messages ( SMS Manager -> Create new message -> Message type -> Load from
file ).
PS: 'Ringtones' section was designed for previous Series 20 and Series 30
phones without modern gallery. In case of Series 40 phones direct ringtone
changes are made via Gallery section.
