    I have a Palm m130 http://www.palmone.com/us/support/m130/
    and a Nokia 8390 phone http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/8390

Is it possible to use IR to connect my Palm m130 with Nokia 8390 to access
    the internet without additional hardware?

    Thanks.

Dumb question. Is it possible to use standard dial-up ISP to connect to the
    Palm m130?

Yes, easily with a few inexpensive parts/cables... Serial Hotsync
cable/Null modem adapter/normal serial cable to external modem... works
    great.

Also there is the PalmModem, a small portable AAA battery powered modem that
clamps directly onto the m130 (or any/most? Universal Connector PDA's-well it
works on my m125 and Zire 71 anyway). It's tough on batteries, approx 2 hours on
a set, but can be powered by a wall wart if you want to carry it. I don't know
if it's being manufactured anymore, but there are some on ebay from time to time
    in the US$20 range.
