I am having a right old struggle trying to discover the pin for my O2 sim
card.
Trying to get info from O2 is like getting blood from a stone unless you pay
50p a minute to their help line.
I have my puk number and my Pin Code 2 number.
I just need a way of discovering my Pin Number for the sim card.
The other starnge problem is that whenever I enter my puk number I enter in
a new security number.
Later when it asks a new security number again I enter the code and it comes
up as an error???
Any help much appreciated.

a PUK is used to unblock a SIM due to PIN1 being entered incorrectly 3 times
A security code is handset specific and we need to know if you mean security
code or PIN code that it asks you to change.
I think you are getting confused between PIN, PUK and Security codes and
need to just understand it better

Hi,
if you forgot your PIN and you have the PUK (Personal Umblocking Key), just
type
* * 05 * PUK * newPIN * newPIN #
and the new PIN is set. PIN2 is sometimes used for special functions. If you
enter a wrong PUK for 10 times, your SIM-Card is permantly blocked and must
be changed by the provider.
HTH and Greetings

The default O2 pin code is 5555, at least it has been on the last 10
sim-cards I've had.
Thanks,
