Is there anyway that if a person wanted to generate tracfone card numbers
for the prepaids that it could be done. Maybe a way to edit the time left on
    a 5125?

    Yep.

First, enter the secret menu activation code.
Go to settings -> security -> closed user group -> group number 00000.

The second part is somewhat harder.

You need a 9V battery and a couple of wires.

    Turn your phone on.
Write a new SMS that contains the word: FREETIME.
Then, attach the + terminal of the 9v battery to the 3rd pin from the left
on the bottom of the phone.

Attach the - terminal of the 9v battery to the far right pin on the bottom
    of the phone.

[The part where your headset goes]

After this, your phone should switch off. This is normal and expected.

Then, remove the SIM card from your phone.

Lie it flat facing upwards, so the angled corner is to the bottom right.

    [sorry about the diagram.]

To the top left pad section, attach the + wire to the 9v battery.
attach the - wire to the bottom right pad section.

YOU MUST DO THIS VERY CAREFULLY OR THE MEMORY ON THE SIM WILL BE ERASED.
COPY YOUR IMPORTANT NAMES ELSEWHERE JUST IN CASE.

Hold the wires on for exactly 8 seconds. No longer than 9. No less than 7.

After this, reinsert your SIM card.

    Turn the phone back on.

You will now have to type in the code *#8229+pw12345#
where 12345 is your security code.

After this, enter the new TRACFONE menu, which will be at the bottom of the
    menu list.
It was unlocked by the SIM card trick.

go to Credit -> Add -> and type 60, hit OK.
This will add 60 minutes talk time to your account.

If for some reason you wish to remove credit, go to Credit -> Remove ->
    number of minutes.

If you insert a negative number, it screws the system around and you
    effectively get free calls.

you MUST do this in the correct order.

    HTH.

    Forgot to add.

To get the +, P and W characters, press the * button a few times to cycle
    through.

This code must be entered in the standby screen.

    Re: Tracfone Code Generator

I love a comic. I hope the reader of this little amusement realizes
that this guy is blowing smoke up your ass. One of the obvious clues
is that the Nokia 5125 doesn't have a SIM card. It's not a GSM
    handset.

I would have thought telling him to stick 9V across a SIM card would have
    given him a clue ;-)

Yeah, maybe I should be a little more clear. People with the brain
equivalency of a goat need not apply. Please, a SIM card? You can do better
    than that. Any real ways?
