in a product which I have legitimately purchased in good faith.
Perhaps in your next response, you would be so good as to actually answer
my points, rather than treating me (a customer!) like some kind of idiot...

Thank you for your request! With first copy you are getting free year
of technical support subscription and program updates. It means, that
after one year the program will function as it is specified in our
license agreement, however you won't be able to get technical support
and updates by e-mail. All of our version updates are 'major' as we
add an optimize new functions in our program.
We consider this new notification system to be more fair. This startup
notification shows, that you shouldn't pay anything, if you don't wish
to renew technical support subscription, unless, you won't be able to
download newer update till next license renewal. I.e., our technical
support services and program updates are periodic service: if you
won't update your technical support subscription, you can always keep
your previous issue, however you can receive new issues only after
technical support subscription renewal.
We'd like to apologize, but we had to ask for additional data about
system date and the latest keycode to be sure, that the problem isn't
involved by some other reasons.
Thank you for your patience and for understanding!
With best regards! Maxim Vyalkov
