    Hello All,
My mate has a problem with a Nokia 3310. He can make and receive calls, has
a good signal, can receive messages but he can't send messages. We've
trawled through the user's guide and looked on Nokia's website but can't
find any mention of what could be causing the problem.
Can anyone in the group shed any light on what may be wrong?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Dave

Have you checked to see that you have the SMSC number set correctly within
    your phone??

Have a word with your network provider for the number to use.

If you've already tried the above, then apologies.

    Good Luck

He'll (I presume) need the message centre number. Tell him to phone the O2
customer careline, they'll send it to him or give it to him to put in his
    self.

Orange SMSC number is +447973100973 unless you have an Out Here or Text
Saver pack in which case it's the same except the last digit is a 9
    instead of a 3.

And can you post at the bottom please, thanks.
