    Hi All,

Does anyone out there have details on the battery connections? I wish
replace the battery with a power supply for an embedded system. Yes I am
aware there are high peak currents involved!

I know the two outer pins are the battery cct. I assume the two inner
pins are a thermistor and battery type sense?

What voltage does the phones processor & electronics run on? Most
embedded GSM modules are 3.7 volts, so I would have to assume the 3310
runs directly from a unregulated battery?

Also, I assume the F-Bus and M-Bus pins are 3.6 Volt logic?

    Regards
    Wayne

    [ [1][2][3][4]] <<battery contacts
1, 4 are the + and - contacts for the 3.6V from the battery
2 and 3 is the discharge resistor, no? They seem to have very high
resistance when I test them together (2 and 3) with a multitester.

Yes, an unregulated battery; the phone electronics MUST run on a voltage
above 3.0V (if not the LEDs flicker and the phone'll say battery empty), but
it'll say 3.1-3.2V as a "low battery". Usually on a full charge its running
    on a 4.0-4.15V battery - but half-charge (2 bars) it'll be around 3.5-3.7V.

Have to look this one up though.
