I've recently got a Nokia 7600.
I can't seem to transfer files!
For example, when I try to copy over an image (by Bluetooth), I get a
message saying File Received (or something like that).
I can open the file and view it, but it just doesn't let me save it.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
What's the solution?
And does anyone else agree with me on this: the Nokia 7600 sucks.
: (
Any help/feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I use the supplied cable & software, absolutely no problems on XP Pro.

Tried the cable?

No. When you're on 3 and you've had an e606 brick with a battery life
counted in hours, the 7600 is a breath of fresh air. It's also the first
phone I've had that is supplied with everything you need to transfer mp3's,
ringtones, games, apps, etc without having to go out and buy some other
cable or software.

You will need special data synchronization software in order to manage
JAVA, Logos and music on this phone. We can offer Oxygen Phone Manager
II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ ). We support Bluetooth connection and IR
connection for this phone as well.

No he will not need anything that didn't come with the phone and certainly
not have to spend any more money. I'm happily using the Nokia supplied cable
and software (which includes an application manager) to manage everything on
the phone, including installing .jad/.jar files, backing up to PC,
synchronizing with Outlook 2003, etc.

Thanks for the replies.
I dont' want to use the cable!
If the phone came with Bluetooth capabilities...
Then I should be able to use them! : )

That's a shame coz it works straight out of the box. Just trying to save you
some money.

Use MobiMB from http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/products.php?id=51 -
inexpensive and works! Bluetooth supported.
