Damn ! Got a 6600 just last week and already have a scratch. Its not massive
but it bugs me, I wondered what sort of options I had to get a replacement
screen. I know when my Gamenoy Advance got a scratch it was easy to get
fixed and very cheap but somehow I doubt thatll be the case, but if anyone
knows Id appreciate the info

I bought a new cover from Ebay, it fitted well and made the phone look
better anyway, cost me £5

Or even toothpaste if it's only a surface scratch.

How does that work ? Brasso will actually fill the scratch in ?

I can second that Brasso works well on minor scratches. It's a fine abrasive
so works by wearing away the sharp edge of a scratch. You have to rub hard
in a circular motion for quite some time. Practice on some scratches on the
front of a CD Jewel case first.

Nope Brasso is a very fine abrasive, and so abrades the surrounding
plastic down to the level of the scratch. Same with T-cut, Duraglit and as
someone else suggested toothpaste. It works best with non-deep scratches,
but with a deep crater a new cover would be better.
BTW do NOT use any of the above on *optical* lenses like sun-glasses,
spectacles, camera lenses, etc. it will ruin them.
