Hi, I just dug up an old 8110 and when I inserted my sim card I got the
message Invalid sim card.
Can someone tell me what this means?
Thanks.

Phone is *simlocked* to a different network, usually PAYG phones. It would
need to be unlocked.

Re: sim card invalid
It means your SIM card is invalid. No, actually the phone is an invalid.

Re: sim card invalid
If you want to unlock your phone it is worth searching the net for free
phone unlocking. I did this with a 3310 and a 3410 and they now have new
lives overseas. Typing in the numbers is a challenge as they need to go in
quite fast but it is better than paying money for the job.
Good luck,
Neil
