Hello. Moisture got into my 6820 and at first it was completely dead,
now I can turn it on and the whole right side keys work but none of
the ones on the left do, front or back. The phone didn't fall into
water but was sitting in the cabin of my boat when I noticed the
moisture in the lcd screen. I was going to send it into nokia under
warranty but after reading the various postings it seems a wast of
time and better to try to resuscitate it myself. Can anyone provide
me with step by step instructions on how to disassemble it?
Thanks in advance.

There are dismantle instructions for the 6820 (and a few other phones) at
the UselessInfo site in my sig.

I had a problem with my 6310i turning itself off, and was directed to
a local service centre, who fixed the problem (software+new battery)
in about an hour.
Rather than send it away, can you check if there is a place closer to
you like this one.
Better to get the work done by a professional who will pay for the any
breakages...
