What pi$$es me off about offers like these is that they are *always* aimed
at two people. I'm not totally friendless (honest..!) but sometimes, just
sometimes, I like to do things alone, and going to the cinema is one of
them. If I go with someone else, they are always blabbing in my ear while
I'm trying to concentrate on the *film*..!!
How about an offer that can be used by a single person..? Maybe a half
price ticket..?

so why not buy two tickets for the price of one, flog your spare one
to someone else in the queue, and enjoy a free (or at least
subsidised) movie?

Anyway...
I have used this offer in several different cinemas. Might just be an
English thing. Mind you apparently the offer is accepted in Wales(around
Cardiff) too.
Best wishes.
