The volume up button on my 8310 has broken off -- not the chrome button,
but the bit underneath. Are there any other methods of changing the
radio volume -- any longcuts (as in the opposite of a shortcut!) on the
    phone pad?

    Thanks

Fraid not. That's what it's there for.

    Repair or nothing, i'm afraid.

Try to pick up a waterdamaged 8310 or one with a broken screen off eBay,
pick up a T6 screwdriver, and do the replacement yourself. Piece of piss.

Bugger, suppose I'll have to go and get it repaired then.

If I so much as touch it with a screwdriver I know the damn thing will
get totally bolloxed anyway, so I may as well pay someone else to do it!

    Cheers
