I bought a Belkin Bluetooth Adaptor and tried to connect my Nokia with
my PC. My phone says it has connected with the PC and then just a
second later it says disconnected. Does anyone know what the problem
could be?

Yes - the problem is you bought a Belkin Bluetooth product, as I have.
It's connected...whoops, no it's not. Hang on, it's back. Where's my
regular dial-up modem gone? I'll fix it later. Now to copy an MP3.
10%...20...30..cool....35....35......35...any advance on 35%? Damn!
Quit. QUIT! That's better. Lets launch the Nokia Application
Installer again. Nope, no bluetooth. Where's task manager. Right, kill
process tree. Let's try again. **** it, i'm off down the pub.
For sale - Belkin Bluetooth Dongle. Genuine reason for sale - it's
****.

Thankfully, I ordered mine from Amazon, who incorrectly stated (and still
do) that it "Allows you to work at distances of up to 100 metres with 0 to
20 dBm output power"....
As it was the 10 metre model they took it back and refunded my return
postage.

Re: Nokia 6230 and Bluetooth
You didn't mention operating system. If it is XP SP2 the Microsoft
drivers may be the problem

Nicely put in context there John - really appreciate having to refresh the
NG to see what we are all talking about. At least try to include SOME of the
earlier posts....
No, XP Home without any service packs and the Belkin dongle is still
troublesome.
