Hello all,
any ideas as to how to rid of the lame 10 second video recording limit
on the Nokia 6620? I've got mine from ATTWS in California... maybe
they did this to the phone..
Any newer firmware that will fix it? and if so what version is it and
where can I find it? and what program is best for flashing?
Thanks a lot,.

Re: 6620 10second recording limit!!
Go to MENU > Camera > Options > Settings > Video > Open > Length > Maximum
Fell free to play around with your phone, there are few setting you can
change that will mess it up. Or read the owner's manual. (if you use set any
passwords or security codes make sure you remember them)
Also this is a great place for info on your phone: http://support.attws.com

The 10 second limit is because of the size of the included memory card
(32mb).
Buy a larger MMC memory card, up to a gig, and you will get longer
recording.

Nope:
The 10 second limit is in place to keep recorded 3GP videos to a suitable
size for picture/multimedia messages(MMS).

The MMC card size has nothing to do with it, a 32meg MMC card will
actually store over 30 minutes of continuous 3GP video.
As "Julie Ruin" posted, the 10 second limit can easily be defeated by
doing "MENU > Camera > Options > Settings > Video > Open > Length >
Maximum"
