6230 fw 5.35 known memory card bug?

Just went into my local Nokia club place to get 5.35 and they wouldn't
do cos they said there's a known issue with this firmware wrecking the
memory card after flash. I have't seen this in any forms. Is this just
bull?

i got my 6230 upgraded to v5.35 a few months back. using a 512mb card
and had no problems. 5.35 certainly hasn't wrecked my memory card!

how do you find which firmware version you have ?

right, I phoned another servcie center and they said there is a known
issue with some cards but definately not the nokia ones that came with
the card- which is what I have. :/
