I just got my 6230 back from Yet Another Repair (what a crap phone!)
and now the security code seems to be something completely
different. The manual says "12345", but that does not work. The shop
is clueless. What can I do? I can use the phone just fine, but
I would like to make use of one or two actions where the phone's
security code is needed.
Thanks for any hints.

Call your wireless service provider. They have a number that you must enter
into your phone and this will reset your lock-code.
Good luck,

PIN code, yes. Security code, which is different, no. Not on a GSM
network, which the 6230 is, anyway.

It can be read with a standard data cable and software from the
internet, I done it myself on my 6230 a while ago but cannot remember
the software used.
