Hi
I've just had the FW on my 9500 upgraded to V5.22
Now the phone won't connect over the USB connection to my PC.
I get the following error message on the phone when I plug it into the USB
cable (DKU-2)
Program closed
Program: Srcs
Reason code: E32USER-CBase
Reason number: 47
There's a long discussion on "My-Symbian" about this latest firmware
upgrade but not everybody seems to have a problem. I can connect over BT,
but another guy in Durham can't connect over anything.
I jus wondered if there were any other 9500 users out there who had
successfully upgraded their phones to 5.22?

Best regards

I think so. Certainly 6.6, and the last update was July 4 this year.

Get in touch with Club Nokia Tech Support, they know about the problem and
say that they are working on it at the moment.
I have been waiting for a week now.....
BTW what country are you, up to now only UK and Netherlands seem to be
having a problem.

OK, the problem with my phone was a flaw in the 'Vodafone' firmware, which
was confirmed by Nokia.
I had the phone re-flashed by my local service centre with the 'generic'
Nokia 5.22 firmware and all is well.
If you're not with Vodafone I don't know what to suggest.....
But the generic firmware worked for me.
