I bought a locked 6190. I used nokiaFREE v3.10 to generate a code.
After I put the code in-the message "restrictions removed" was
displayed. When I put th sim card in, powered up- I doesn't work right.
It won't get a signal and locks up. Is it trash?

You will have to take it to a Nokia Care Centre where they can fix it.

If you have used a 3G sim then try a GSM sim card. It may not cure the root
locking reason but may help avoid it.
