6680 Doesn't display caller name

Hi,

I just got a Nokia 6680 and synchronised my address book with it.

When I get incoming calls the phone doesn't always show the caller name
even if the telephone number is in Contacts.

For instance, although my home phone number is entered, exactly as it
appears on the display, i.e. +498912345678, when I get a call from
'Home' it displays as the number, not the Contact name.

Is this a common problem? I have got around 300 contacts entered. Is it
a problem with the quantity? Some numbers, for instance my wife's mobile
do display the contact name correctly.

The reason for only the number displaying is more than likely duplicate
entries. If the number has been entered into more than one contact then
the phone can't decide which name to display, so it just displays the
number instead.

Absolutely spot on! Thanks. I knew that our 'Home' number was entered
under 'Home so I deleted it, called the mobile again and it displayed my
wife's name. I had indeed got it in twice.
