Re: Outlook synch for Nokia 6200
Hello!
Oxygen Phone Manager II ( http://www.opm-2.com/opm2/ ) will do the job. We
support Nokia 6200 via infrared and thirdparty POP-port-to-USB F-Bus cable,
based on ProLific PL-2303 chipset ( you can find this cable over e-bay).
Using our software you can manage your Nokia 6200 and adjust caller group
parameters as well (except caller group logo).
OPM-II allows to synchronize ( via import and export functions ) the
phonebook with MS Outlook, CSV, Windows Address book and export phonebook
data to RTF, plain-text, XML, HTML, Data Interchange Format (DIF) and DBF.
You can download free trial version here:
http://oxygensoftware.com/en/downloa...p?ProductID=58
In trial you can modify only one phonebook entry per program's session and
you cannot delete contacts. There is no such limitation in Full version (
starting with 'Individual' license).
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us (
http://www.opm-2.com/forum/ ).
Best regards, Maxim Vyalkov

Great..I will download the trial this weekend and give it a shot. Any
chance the software solves the recurring appointment issue? If I create a
recurring appointment in OL and synch to my phone, the phone does not
recognize an end date. Additionally, if I delete 1 instance, it still
appears on the phone.

Re: Outlook synch for Nokia 6200
Hello!
This seems to be the common issue with OL data. That's why we offer our own
database, so you could create an appointment inside Oxygen Phone Manager II
and upload it to the phone. The main advantage of our program interface is
that it is oriented on your phone's addressbook and agenda data stucture:
you can create hourly recurrenting events in our program or set your phone's
genuine event types.
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us (

I looked at this software, and from what I can tell, I must import my
information into the Oxygen DB then do my phone transfer. This is not what
I am looking for.
I would like to be able to have my data remain in Outlook and have a 2-way
synchronization between my phone and Outlook. Does Oxygen provide this
capablity? Is there anyother software out on the market?
Thank you

Hello!

In current version Oxygen Phone Manager II provides PIM-to-phone data
transfer only via its own database as follows:
1) Data import from PIM ( Microsoft Outlook in your case). Our program
doesn't delete any information from Microsoft Outlook: it just copies its
database contents to our program.
2) Upload imported information to your phone.
'Direct' synchronization would be a bit complicated, as Microsoft Outlook
and Nokia 6200 has a bit different database structure. For example, you can
assign several mobile numbers in Nokia 6200, while Microsoft Outlook allows
to store only one mobile number. There are no any contact categories in
Nokia 6200 as well, as there are no Caller Groups in Microsoft Outlook. So
you need a software, which can serve as some sort of 'gateway' between two
different database structure. Using our program you can set Caller
groups-to-Outlook categories assinment ('mapping' ) and different contact
fields mapping, so you could save all Outlook information in correct Nokia
6200 addressbook callergroups and contact fields.
If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us (

Thank you for the additional info.
Has anyone tried the software by Mobile Master? I downloaded a limited
trial version and it seems work fine. It works along side of PC Suite and
provides a direct interface from Outlook to the phone
