I have a new Nokia 6230i, and this is my first Bluetooth phone. The manual
doesn't tell me much at all as regards using the Bluetooth function. One
thing I'm curious about is the whole Bluetooth code/PIN thing, that you have
to input when pairing with a device - I briefly connected to a friends
phone, and he told me to put in his code that was about 4 digits long. My
question is this - does my own 6230i have a default Bluetooth PIN/code?
Nothing in the phone's manual mentions one if there is. I'm told the default
for many Bluetooth devices is 0000......will this be mine? Confused! :/

You pick whatever code you require unless a device is provided with a code
that you must use. So on my computer and the umpteen BT devices, as each
has been paired I used 0000 as the code when it was needed.
All you're doing is establishing the link between two devices. If you
prefer to use 1492 for pairing then it'll work
That number has a link if you think about it/check out the date/rhyme
bye.
