Have a 6680 and want to synchronise with my pc.
Have installed a BT-dongle (software BlueSoleil).
When I want to synchronise my phone with my pc, I can only use it
    through the data-cable.
THe wizard Connection Manager gives a error:
Connection type can not be used/check hardware-software-drivers.

    Can someone help me please?
Maybe some wrong BT-setup with the dongle?
Sorry for me broken english :-)
    Thanx in advance.
    Phil.

Hi there, I have the same phone and same dongle and had the same problem.

The only way I could get PC Suite to work was to remove the Blue Soleil
drivers and use the default Windows ones (assuming your a Windoze user).

    HTH

    Your English is fine, BTW.

    Thnx Steve,
just unstalled everything ...still no connection (works only with the
    cable)
In the past I've used my old T630 with this dongle, and it worked
    fine.
Now, it seems to be a "com" or "serial" problem ...
I can not get in the advanced config. of BleuSoleil/my BT device
There , you can define a serial/com port.

Any other program or driver that works with bt-dongles ?

My PC recognize the 6680, but get not connected.
Normaly using bleusoleil I have 4 services (included serial port) ...
now only 3 , no serial.
The icon color of my device is yellow, this means Selected, but not
    connected (green).

Sounds strange, but with my HP4700 (ppc) no problem with that
    Bleusoleil serial service port.

After you uninstalled the drivers did you re-boot your computer? During
re-boot did Windows recognise the dongle and install it's own drivers?

In PC-Suite what options do you get in "Manage Connections"?

Re: BT connection not found with PC Suite ?

    Hi Phil

A common problem with Windows is that it insists on installing it's own
Microsoft drivers for pretty much all Bluetooth dongles. That's fine if
your dongle works with them, but if it's a WIDCOMM device, you need to
install the software again, go into Control Panel, go to System, select
Device Manager, then select the Bluetooth Radio, right click Generic
Bluetooth Device and then select the Drivers tab. Click Update Driver
and select Manual Update, then tell it you will Select From A List and
select your device from the next screen. After updating the driver,
restart your machine, with the dongle plugged in, and you should have
    no problems.

    Cheers

    Glenn

you've to install bluesoleil version 1.6.1.4 050606 if you want to make
it work with nokia pc suite. once installed, search for this file
NclIVTBTMM.dll (usually it's located in ...\pcsuite\transports) and then
go to windows menu: start -> run -> open and paste here this string:
    regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\PCSuite\Transports\NclIVTBTMM.dll" then click ok, confirm next
    step and then reboot
