Hi
I have successfully used Nokia 6230i with Motorola HF820 (Bluetooth) for
handsfree car use, for the last month and found the two worked very well
together. I had set voice dial on 6230i and just needed to press 1 button
on HF820, wait for a loud bleep, bleep, bleep from HF820, before voice
dialing. HF820 then played back my vioce dial and commenced dialling.
I've now changed phone to Nokia N70-1 and the bleep, bleep, bleep sound
comes from the phone and not the HF820. I can't hear the phone bleeps (it's
in my jacket pocket), so don't know when to speak my voice tag. Am I doing
something wrong, do I need to change a setting etc. for the bleeps to come
from HF820, or is the phone faulty, or are they not compatible.
Is anybody else using same combination?
Thanks in advance of your reply

Re: Bluetooth Handsfree
If you are in the States, call Motorola tech support at 877-MOTOBLU.
They will work you thru it. Do not call Nokia, they will tell you
that you need a Nokia BT.

Re: Bluetooth Handsfree
I phoned Motorola UK Tech Support today and they didn't seem suprised that
it doesn't work and suggested I speak to Nokia to get a Bluetooth upgrade.
Phone is only 1 week old.
Anybody using handsfree bluetooth with N70? What make and model works for
you?

Re: Bluetooth Handsfree
I am in the States and use a Motorola HS850 with a Nokia 6255. Works
great. Have a friend who works with Verizonwireless (Vodafone +
Verizon Land Line) and she also suggested a Logitech.
She indicated the HS850 and the Logitech were the best two on the
market.
