N80 slow SMS sending

Again with this problem. It went away after my service center flashed it
with version 4 OS but now it's starting again. I clean my log but it's the
same. I don't get reboots as I used to, but still, I don't think it's very
stable. Can one contact Nokia about this? To send a sort of an error report?

I would think you could get some help via support at the website.

Off the top of my head, there are several things that come to mind,
here.

First, since the problem is only partially repeated (you did say no
reboots), have you checked with your carrier, at a level higher than
the customer service drones, that there are no network problems that
might contribute to or cause the slow sms sending?

Second, Is there software on your phone that was added before the first
incident, that is still on your phone that might be interfering with
sms sending or may have corrupted some settings?

Third, have you tried another N80? You might just have a bad phone.

I don't think it's my carrier. When I bought the phone it was ok, than it
started to get slower, after they flahed it was great again, and it's slower
now. Like there's some sort of memory leak. Can't know if I try a new one,
at the beginning they are all fast. I'll try their site...thanks!

No SMS problems with my N80 (Cingular) at all.

I haven't had any problems, either. But I've received more sms
messages than I've sent. And my N80 had the latest ROM update when I
got it -- unless they've put out a newer version since I got it. No
problems with Cingular for me, either.
