I have just bought a Nokia 6233 phone (UK T-mobile) and cannot use voice tag
dialling on my car hands free because there appears to be no way of
recording your own tags. Is there any way of deleting the automatic text to
speech voice tags and recording your own as this feature is useless as none
of the tags sound anything like the names.
Thanks
Graham

Yuo do not need to record tags with this phone. Just press the right hand
soft key (above the end call key) or the button on your handsfree, if
applicable. At the tone speak the name you want, as it appears in the
contacts list. Professor Steven Hawking will read back what the phone
thinks you said and then dial the number assigned to that name. Some other
functions are available eg: radio on/ radio off as well.

Re: Recording Voice Tag for dialling on Nokia 6233
This feature works fearsomely well - but ONLY through a headset.
Direct to the phone, it's utterly useless - the rationale presumably being
that if you have it in your hand, then you can jolly well search contacts
manually.
It's a great facility - as long as your handset has good BT implementation -
unfortunately, not a given on S60-3 devices.
